Chuck Fleischmann, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Tennessee's 3rd District since 2011, recently took to social media to discuss energy expansion and infrastructure development. Fleischmann has been vocal about his initiatives, emphasizing the importance of American-made energy and supporting the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in their critical work.

On December 5, 2024, Fleischmann stated his commitment to expanding American-made energy. He noted that by "unleashing American energy," the United States could meet its domestic needs while also bolstering the economy through international sales. This statement came with an assertion that with "President Trump back in office and Conservatives controlling Congress," these goals were more achievable than before ("I'm leading the charge to expand all forms of American-made energy...").

Later on the same day, Fleischmann expressed his support for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers via another post. He highlighted their essential role in maintaining national infrastructure and assured that under his leadership as Chairman of Energy & Water Appropriations, they would have sufficient resources for their mission ("The Army Corps of Engineers does essential work to strengthen and maintain our nation's infrastructure...").

In a separate post made at the same time, Fleischmann mentioned meeting with representatives from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to receive updates on various projects across Tennessee. He emphasized his responsibility for funding every project undertaken by this organization nationwide ("I met with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to get an update on their work...").
