Chuck Fleischmann, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Tennessee’s 3rd district since 2011, has shared several statements on social media addressing recent developments in American politics and energy policy. Fleischmann, who has a background in law and education from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and the University of Tennessee, has been active in discussing his views on transportation leadership, energy strategy, and national defense.

On December 11, 2024, Fleischmann expressed support for Sean Duffy's appointment as Secretary of Transportation by President Trump. He remarked on Twitter that "@SeanDuffyWI served with distinction with me and our great Senator @MarshaBlackburn in the House, and he will be an excellent Secretary of Transportation for America! I'm proud to call Sean my friend - President Trump made a great pick when he chose Sean!"

On December 12, 2024, Fleischmann commented on energy policies in Europe and advocated for nuclear power investment. He tweeted that "Record energy prices throughout Europe show the folly and shortsightedness of abandoning nuclear power. The only way to meet our and the world's energy needs is to invest in, grow, and expand nuclear power. America can and will become the global leader in new nuclear."

Later that day, Fleischmann discussed his vote on the Fiscal Year 2025 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). He stated that "I proudly voted for the FY25 NDAA, which makes critical investments in our nuclear security. As Chairman of Energy & Water Appropriations, I'm working to strengthen America's nuclear deterrent to counter China and Russia."
