Chuck Fleischmann, a U.S. Congressman representing Tennessee's 3rd district since 2011, recently shared his insights and activities on social media. Through his tweets, he highlighted key issues such as youth drug prevention, the effectiveness of the House GOP, and federal government spending.
On February 5th, Fleischmann expressed his commitment to combating drug abuse after meeting with ASAP of Anderson and STAND from Scott County. He emphasized the importance of youth drug prevention efforts by stating: "Pleasure today to meet with @ASAPofAnderson and STAND from Scott County to discuss youth drug prevention and how to stop the scourge of drug abuse that affects too many Tennesseans and Americans. I'll always fight against drug abuse and work to end our nation's overdose crisis."
The following day, February 6th, Fleischmann commented on the productivity of the House GOP in serving American citizens. He declared: ".@HouseGOP has hit the ground running and is moving at full speed to deliver results for the American People. We will not stop working for our great nation!"
Later on February 6th, he addressed concerns over financial losses due to fraud in federal spending. Citing an estimate from the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO), he remarked: "The nonpartisan U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) estimates that the federal government loses between $233 billion to $521 billion annually to fraud. President Trump is right that we must act NOW to stop the waste, fraud, and abuse in federal spending."
