On November 26, 2024, Fleischmann criticized current immigration policies via Twitter. He stated that "The insane open border policies of the last four years have turned every state and community into a border community, including Chattanooga and Tennessee." He further expressed his support for former President Trump by adding that "When President Trump is back in the White House, we will end open border policies and deport criminal illegals."
