Chuck Fleischmann, a U.S. Congressman representing Tennessee’s 3rd district since 2011, recently expressed his views on border security and political issues through a series of tweets. Fleischmann has been vocal about immigration policies and concerns over FEMA's actions following recent hurricanes.

On November 18, 2024, Fleischmann tweeted about the demands of the American people for secure borders and an end to illegal immigration. He stated that with President Trump returning to the White House on January 20, 2025, along with a unified Conservative Congress, immediate action would be taken to deport criminal illegals and secure borders. Later that day, Fleischmann addressed the issue of criminal illegal aliens in Chattanooga and Tennessee at large. He emphasized that on Day 1 of President Trump's new administration, Congress would collaborate with the President to deport every criminal illegal alien in Tennessee and nationwide. "There is no place for criminal illegal aliens in Chattanooga or anywhere in Tennessee..."

On November 19, 2024, Fleischmann joined forces with Vern Buchanan to question FEMA Administrator Criswell regarding alleged political bias and discrimination against supporters of President-elect Donald Trump after hurricanes affected East Tennessee and the Southeast.
