Sheriff Barton would like to express his appreciation for the opportunity to partner with the Campbell County School System to train and educate staff members on trends in vaping.

On January 2nd, Corporal Brian Osborn, Sergeant Johnny Blankenship and Reserve Deputy Grant Cole conducted this training at Campbell County and Jellico High Schools.  The training included an exhibit of several different types of vaping devices. The devices on display had previously been confiscated by School Resource Officers and School Administrators during the school year.

Sheriff Barton encourages the ongoing communication between our School Resource Officers and staff members. Together, we will continue working hard to keep our campuses safe.
