Fleischmann celebrates 95th anniversary of Hoskins Drug Store in Clinton

In a series of tweets, U.S. Congressman Chuck Fleischmann, who has represented Tennessee's 3rd District since 2011, shared his participation in the celebrations of the 95th anniversary of Hoskins Drug Store in Clinton, Tennessee. Born in New York City in 1962 and currently residing in Chattanooga, Fleischmann holds degrees from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and the University of Tennessee.

On April 4, 2025, Fleischmann tweeted "Great to be in Clinton with East Tennesseans celebrating the 95th anniversary of Hoskins Drug Store!" This message reflects his presence at the community event, underscoring the significance of the anniversary to local residents.

Elaborating on the history of the establishment, Fleischmann posted "In 1930, R.C. Hoskins founded Hoskins Drug Store and it quickly became a beloved cornerstone of the community. Hoskins Drug Store's legacy has been carried forward by R.C. Hoskins' daughters, Dudley Hoskins Bostic and Molly Hoskins Scarbrough, whose dedicated work has ensured", highlighting the store's foundation and enduring legacy through family dedication.

In his final tweet on the occasion, Fleischmann conveyed "It was great to participate in today's milestone celebration and present Dudley and Molly with a copy of the Congressional Record, where Congress honored the 95th anniversary of Hoskins Drug Store!" This gesture marked a formal recognition of the store's contribution to the community over the decades.
