Chuck Fleischmann, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Tennessee's 3rd district since 2011, recently shared updates on his legislative activities and political perspectives through social media posts. Born in New York City in 1962, Fleischmann has lived in Chattanooga and holds degrees from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and the University of Tennessee.

On February 4, 2025, Chuck Fleischmann announced the passage of his bill titled the Eastern Band of Cherokee Historic Lands Reacquisition Act through the House. He stated: "GREAT NEWS! My bill, the Eastern Band of Cherokee Historic Lands Reacquisition Act just passed the House, by a unanimous vote! My bill restores 76.1 acres of federal land that was wrongly and forcibly taken from the Eastern Band of Cherokee due to misguided federal policies..."

In another post dated February 5, 2025, Fleischmann expressed support for President Trump's foreign policy approach: "American strength, leadership, and vision are back in our foreign policy under President Trump!"

Further emphasizing energy policy priorities on February 5, 2025, Fleischmann advocated for an inclusive energy strategy: "America needs an 'all-of-the-above' energy policy to create jobs, grow our economy, and provide Americans with affordable, reliable energy. I look forward to leading the American Energy Dominance Caucus with @RepVeasey to make our country the leader in new energy production."
