Chuck Fleischmann, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Tennessee's 3rd district since 2011, has shared his views on recent political developments through a series of tweets. The congressman, who resides in Chattanooga and was born in New York City, is known for his advocacy for energy independence and government efficiency.

On February 4, 2025, Fleischmann congratulated Chris Wright on his appointment as the next Secretary of Energy. He expressed confidence in Wright's leadership, stating: "Congratulations to our next Secretary of Energy, Chris Wright! I’ve had many conversations and meetings with Secretary Wright, and I know he and I will work closely together to make America energy independent and dominate again."

Later that day, Fleischmann commented on the current administration under President Trump. He remarked: "Under President Trump, the world knows that strong leadership is back in the White House and that America won't stand for being taken advantage of anymore."

In another tweet posted on February 4, 2025, Fleischmann addressed issues concerning federal bureaucracy. He stated: "I've long said that the federal bureaucracy is too large and doesn't respond to the needs of the American People who pay bureaucrat's salaries. Reducing the bloated federal bureaucracy by 20,000 people is a good start, and more cutting must be done to save taxpayers their money."
