10.5% of Campbell County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Campbell County recorded an unemployment rate of 10.5% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 1,781 people out of the 39,388 living in Campbell County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Campbell County has increased compared to the 10.2% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Campbell County was greater than the statewide unemployment rate of 5.3%.

Of the 15,116 people who had a job during that time, 8 were employed in the Armed Forces and 15,108 belonged to the civilian labor force.
