Porter Finstad picked up a win in the first round of the Division II Super Regional to highlight the postseason competition for the Lincoln Memorial men's wrestling team.
In the 125-pound weight class, Finstad took a 4-1 decision over King's Tyson Upchurch before dropping a match to No. 1 nationally ranked Logan Seliga of UNC Pembroke by technical fall.
The win came as the Railsplitters scored 4.0 team points to finish 10th among the 10 schools in the field.
This serves as the final competition of the season for Lincoln Memorial, who won its first dual (39-15 against Patrick Henry CC on Dec. 2) and conference dual (44-12 on Jan. 28 vs Emory & Henry) in program history this round.
