Captain Shain Vowell retired on Friday the 14th after serving the people of Anderson County since 1998. For over two decades, Captain Vowell served with honor and a strong sense of duty. He touched countless lives along the way and invested his energy into folks who were desperate for a better life. It will be impossible to replace him. We are better because of him and his leadership. Good luck in your retirement Captain…you’ve earned it.
