The Anderson County Sheriff’s Department, with deep sadness in our hearts, sends all of our support and prayers to the Union County Sheriff's Office - Tennessee and the family of Deputy Kirrman.
Deputy Matthew Kirrman, age 27, was found deceased just after midnight on Oct. 9th, 2022, when his patrol vehicle was found wrecked in the area of Ailor Gap Rd. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation along with the Tennessee Highway Patrol was called to investigate the incident. Kirrman had previously served at the Knox County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputy Matthew Kirrman will be greatly missed by many.
