Today, we recognized 10 men who graduated from our Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT) program. MRT is a program at the jail that is a cognitive behavioral treatment program for substance abuse and offender populations. This is not an easy program and these men have gone through intense classes that have challenged them mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
Our Director of Alternatives to Incarceration, Lacresha Logan, does a tremendous job working with our inmates and has a deep passion to help them succeed post-incarceration. I would like to thank Judge Ryan Spitzer for attending today’s graduation. He has played a tremendous role expanding our program which has provided opportunities for more inmates.
