Chuck Fleischmann, a U.S. Congressman representing Tennessee’s 3rd district, shared several tweets recently reflecting on state pride, community engagement, and condemning antisemitism. Fleischmann, who has been serving in Congress since 2011 after succeeding Zach Wamp, expressed his sentiments on various issues via social media.
On June 1, 2025, Fleischmann commemorated the birthday of Tennessee with a tweet stating “Happy birthday to our great state! We are blessed to live in the Volunteer State, the best state in the Union!”
Later that day, he mentioned spending time in Athens, Tennessee. He tweeted “Brenda and I enjoyed being in Athens, ‘the friendly city,’ after church today! It’s always great to be with our friends and neighbors in McMinn County!”
The following day, on June 2, 2025, Fleischmann addressed a serious incident involving an antisemitic attack. He stated “Yesterday’s antisemitic terror attack against innocent American Jews, including a Holocaust survivor, by an illegal immigrant let into our country by Joe Biden is outrageous, evil, and wrong. Antisemitism has no place in America.”
Fleischmann was born in New York City in 1962 and currently resides in Chattanooga. He holds degrees from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and the University of Tennessee.
