On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Union County High School standout Savannah Paul’s current college team, the UVA Wise Cavaliers, won 7-5 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Chowan Hawks.

The game took place at Bill Gatton Softball Field. This was their first matchup against the Hawks this season.

The Cavaliers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 4 p.m. at Bill Gatton Softball Field against Cedarville Yellow Jackets.
