On March 25, 2025, Chuck Fleischmann expressed pleasure in meeting with several mayors from Tennessee, including Claiborne County Mayor Joe Brooks, Jefferson County Mayor Mark Potts, Sevier County Mayor Larry Waters, Cumberland Gap Mayor Neal Pucciarelli, along with members of the East Tennessee Human Resource Agency (ETHRA). The act aims to bolster protection for nuclear assets against potential drone threats.
