Chuck Fleischmann, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Tennessee’s 3rd district since 2011, recently shared his views on America’s nuclear industry and legislative developments through a series of tweets. Fleischmann, who has been an advocate for nuclear energy as part of America’s energy independence strategy, expressed his support for recent executive actions.

On May 23, 2025, Fleischmann tweeted about President Trump’s executive orders aimed at bolstering the nation’s nuclear sector. He stated that these measures are “wide-ranging and groundbreaking,” emphasizing their historic significance in strengthening America’s nuclear leadership. “I’ve long said that new nuclear power is critical for America’s energy independence and national security. @POTUS’ executive orders show that”.

In another tweet on the same day, Fleischmann declared that “America’s Nuclear Renaissance is here!” He highlighted the potential benefits of revitalizing the domestic nuclear industry, suggesting it would pave the way for “America’s New Nuclear Future.” “By revitalizing and reviving America’s domestic nuclear industry, we will create America’s New Nuclear Future!”

Fleischmann also shared insights from his interactions with local media outlets upon returning to Tennessee’s 3rd district. On May 23, he tweeted about discussions with WDEF News 12 and News Channel Nine regarding the One Big Beautiful Bill Act passing in the House. He mentioned how this legislation aims to deliver lower taxes and improve quality of life while helping America get back on track. “It’s great to be back home and having another busy day in #TN03! Fleischmann was born in New York City in 1962 but currently resides in Chattanooga. He holds degrees from both the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (BA) and the University of Tennessee (JD).
