U.S. Congressman Chuck Fleischmann, who represents Tennessee’s 3rd district, posted a series of updates on his social media accounts in May 2026, ranging from personal tributes to professional engagements.

On May 11, Fleischmann shared a personal message for Mother’s Day, writing, “Happy Mother’s Day, Brenda. The love of my life and an amazing mom who raised three extraordinary sons. I love you!”

The following day, Fleischmann addressed matters of national security. On May 12, he posted about a meeting with senior defense officials: “This morning @SecWar, General Dan Caine, and Department of War CFO Jules Hurst joined the @HouseAppropsGOP. I asked them what tactical nuclear capabilities would be the most useful in deterring our adversaries while reassuring our allies. Watch their answer here:”

Later that same day, Fleischmann highlighted his interaction with NASA astronauts: “An absolute honor to have met the @NASAArtemis II astronauts. Their bravery inspires millions of Americans to strive for a better future together.”

Fleischmann has served in Congress since 2011 after succeeding Zach Wamp as representative for Tennessee’s 3rd district. He was born in New York City in 1962 and currently resides in Chattanooga. Fleischmann holds degrees from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and the University of Tennessee.
