Chuck Fleischmann, a U.S. Congress member representing Tennessee’s 3rd district since 2011, has taken to social media to convey his current initiatives and engagements regarding energy security. With his background in education from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and the University of Tennessee, Fleischmann contributes extensively on energy-related issues.
On April 22, 2025, Fleischmann posted, “As Co-Chairman of the Spent Nuclear Fuel Caucus, I am bringing together bipartisan leaders to create new solutions for safely storing and recycling spent nuclear fuel. I’m always working to strengthen America’s energy security and make our nation energy independent and dominant.”
Later that day, on April 22, 2025, he shared another tweet stating, “Today, I was honored to keynote two discussions for EarthX’s annual conference, where I highlighted the significant progress our nation had made to expand new nuclear energy, restore the production of critical materials from China, and revitalize American-made energy, with East.”
On April 24, 2025, Fleischmann communicated his efforts in forming a new caucus dedicated to energy dominance, “We can secure American Energy Dominance by working together and setting aside petty politics.
