Chuck Fleischmann, a U.S. Congressman representing Tennessee’s 3rd district since 2011, recently shared his views and activities through a series of tweets. Born in New York City in 1962, Fleischmann now resides in Chattanooga and holds degrees from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and the University of Tennessee.

On November 25, 2024, Fleischmann expressed his opinion on legal proceedings involving former President Trump. He stated that “Jack Smith’s political lawfare against President Trump was always a disgrace and an attempt to destroy President Trump.” Fleischmann hailed the motion to dismiss charges against Trump as “a massive win for the rule of law,” emphasizing that political prosecutions are not tolerated in America.

Later that day, Fleischmann announced his participation in a new congressional group focused on government efficiency. He tweeted, “Proud to announce that I’ve joined @PeteSessions’ & @RepAaronBean’s new DOGE Caucus!” The Delivering Outstanding Government Efficiency (DOGE) Caucus aims to tackle government waste and spending issues.

On November 26, 2024, Fleischmann highlighted a meeting with Tennessee State Senator Bo Watson and members of the American Association of Airport Executives. He noted that they discussed strategies for growth at Chattanooga Airport (CHA) and ways for state and federal governments to support this initiative.
