Chuck Fleischmann, currently serving as the U.S. Representative for Tennessee’s 3rd district since 2011, has recently shared several updates on social media regarding national and local issues. Fleischmann, who succeeded Zach Wamp in Congress and resides in Chattanooga, addressed topics ranging from presidential security to cryptocurrency legislation and community collaboration.
On July 13, 2025, Fleischmann reflected on an event involving former President Trump: “One year ago today, an act of God saved President Trump’s life from a deranged would-be assassin. America has a President who is fighting for our country and working to make America great again for all Americans. God bless President Trump!”
The following day, July 14, 2025, Fleischmann announced his support for upcoming cryptocurrency legislation: “This week, I will proudly support the GENIUS Act, led by one of our state’s great leaders, @SenatorHagerty. Crypto is here to stay, and the United States must cement itself as the global leader in cryptocurrency. I urge all my colleagues in the House to vote YES on this bill!”
Later that same day, Fleischmann highlighted his meeting with a local official: “It was great to sit down with one of our community’s best local leaders, @SenBoWatson, to talk about how we can work together to continue making East Tennessee the best place to live without big government overreach. Be sure to tune in wherever you listen to your podcasts!”
Fleischmann was born in New York City in 1962 and moved to Tennessee where he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 1983 before earning a JD from the University of Tennessee in 1986.
