Chuck Fleischmann, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Tennessee’s 3rd district since 2011, recently shared updates regarding his activities and views on energy policy via social media. On May 7, 2025, Chuck Fleischmann announced that he would be chairing the Fiscal Year 2026 Budget Hearing for the Department of Energy. He invited viewers to watch live as “Tune in soon at 10AM ET to watch me Chair the FY26 Budget Hearing for @ENERGY featuring testimony from @SecretaryWright.”

Later that day, Fleischmann expressed his commitment alongside President Biden and Secretary Wright to enhance American energy production. Fleischmann has been an advocate for maximizing domestic energy resources as part of his legislative agenda since joining Congress.
