Chuck Fleischmann, U.S. Congressman representing Tennessee’s 3rd District since 2011, recently took to social media to update his constituents on his various activities and initiatives. Fleischmann, who was born in New York City in 1962 and now resides in Chattanooga, shared insights into his dedication to government projects, community events, and constituent engagement.
On May 1, 2025, Fleischmann expressed his views on the FY26 Energy & Water bill, emphasizing the need for strategic investment in energy projects. He stated, “As I work on the FY26 Energy & Water bill with @HouseAppropsGOP, I will ensure every taxpayer dollar is strategically invested in energy projects with the best chance of success rather than squandered on unattainable clean power goals.”
The following day, May 2, Fleischmann extended greetings on Armed Forces Day, highlighting Chattanooga’s long-standing tradition in celebrating the event. He noted, “Happy Armed Forces Day, Chattanooga! For 76 consecutive, uninterrupted years, Chattanooga has held our country’s longest Armed Forces Day. This year, our community comes together to honor our newest military branch – the United States Space Force.”
Also on May 2, Fleischmann announced the return of “Fleischmann Fridays,” encouraging constituents to watch his video presentation by remarking, “Welcome back to Fleischmann Fridays! Watch my video below to hear about my work for you!”
Chuck Fleischmann has played an active role in Congress, steadfastly working on legislation and community initiatives since he replaced Zach Wamp in 2011. He holds degrees from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and the University of Tennessee.
