Chuck Fleischmann, a U.S. Congressman representing Tennessee’s 3rd district since 2011, recently shared his views and activities through a series of tweets. Fleischmann, who succeeded Zach Wamp in Congress, was born in New York City in 1962 and currently resides in Chattanooga. He holds a BA from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a JD from the University of Tennessee.
On July 10, 2025, Fleischmann expressed strong support for immigration enforcement agencies. In his tweet, he stated: “The men and women of ICE and Border Patrol are heroes who put themselves in harm’s way every single day to protect our nation, secure our borders, and deport criminal illegals. I will always proudly stand with ICE, CBP, and all our heroic law enforcement!”
Later that day, Fleischmann discussed his recent appearance on Bloomberg Television where he talked about government funding for fiscal year 2026. He mentioned President Trump’s legislative efforts by tweeting: “It was a pleasure today to sit down with Bloomberg Television to discuss FY26 government funding, how President Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill delivers for Americans, and my work to advance new nuclear energy nationwide.”
In another tweet on the same day, Fleischmann announced an upcoming media appearance. He informed his followers: “I will be joining @tperkins on @FRCdc’s Washington Watch in a few minutes! Be sure to tune in!”
Fleischmann continues to engage actively with national issues while maintaining communication with his constituents through various media platforms.
