U.S. Congressman Chuck Fleischmann, who represents Tennessee’s 3rd district and has served in Congress since 2011, posted a series of updates on September 19, 2025, highlighting his recent activities with constituents and legislative work.
In one post from that day, Fleischmann shared his experience meeting local students: “It was incredible to meet the junior class of Collegedale Academy! We must continue to invest in the younger generations. I am confident they will carry the torch of public service into the future.” (September 19, 2025)
Later the same day, he discussed efforts to prevent a government shutdown alongside his House Republican colleagues: “Today, I joined my @HouseGOP colleagues to vote for a clean CR to keep our government open and working for the American People. We cannot allow an unnecessary government shutdown to stop the business of the American People while we continue working to Make America Great Again.” (September 19, 2025)
Fleischmann also recapped a week filled with constituent meetings and referenced federal action in Memphis: “What a busy week it was, full of meetings with hundreds of constituents, passing impactful legislation, and a major announcement from @POTUS about bringing law and order to Memphis! Hear all about it below.” (September 19, 2025)
Chuck Fleischmann has been serving as U.S. Representative for Tennessee’s 3rd District since replacing Zach Wamp in 2011. He is currently based in Chattanooga but was born in New York City in 1962. Fleischmann holds degrees from both the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (BA) and the University of Tennessee (JD).
