U.S. Congressman Chuck Fleischmann, who represents Tennessee’s 3rd district, recently used his social media platform to voice support for the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) and emphasize the importance of its public ownership and leadership.
On July 31, 2025, Fleischmann stated: “We need to keep TVA strong, keep TVA public, and get TVA’s Board filled with well-qualified people nominated by President Trump and confirmed by America’s Republican Senate Majority.” In a subsequent post on the same day, he added: “TVA is a great resource and asset for the Southeast and the entire United States.
