Chuck Fleischmann, U.S. Congressman representing Tennessee’s 3rd district since 2011, shared updates and comments on recent meetings and local events through a series of posts on May 13, 2026.
In his first post, Fleischmann highlighted a meeting with Admiral Houston, Director of the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program. He stated: “Always a pleasure meeting with Admiral Houston, Director of the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program. As Energy & Water Chairman, we will ensure the Nuclear Navy has the resources to remain the most dominant naval power in the world.” (May 13, 2026).
Later that day, Fleischmann expressed support for state infrastructure efforts by writing: “I applaud the hard work of the Tennessee Road Builders Association. Their efforts ensure The Volunteer State’s highway system is one of the safest, most efficient, and most cost-effective in the nation!” (May 13, 2026).
Addressing a local incident, he also posted: “My sincerest condolences to those injured in today’s accident. Please join Brenda and me in praying for their full recovery.” (May 13, 2026).
Fleischmann has represented Tennessee’s 3rd congressional district since succeeding Zach Wamp in 2011. Born in New York City in 1962 and currently residing in Chattanooga at age 60, he holds degrees from both the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and the University of Tennessee.
